Stefka Emilova Toncheva was born on March 2, 1985 in Targovishte, Bulgaria. At the age of 11 she started classic singing. She studied in a class with advanced study of music and opera singing. When she turned 15, she decided to go into a different style of music and singing. By the time she graduated from High School, she had been practicing both styles. She participated in many competitions in Bulgaria and abroad, where she always brought home a prize. She won 4 Grand Prix awards. She also won many first places, one of which played a very important role in her life. When 20, Stefka participated in the"Burgas and the Sea" contest in Burgas, Bulgaria. She won first place for best singer there. This way her fate changed. She moved to Burgas and started working with a band called "GRAS". Shortly after, they recorded her first album "Outspoken".
